In the mid 1970s while India was producing four brands of Desktop typewriters, Remington produced this portable in their new plant at Faridabad in Haryana. This is the same machine as the Remington 20 model in a different but bright & beautiful red body. For many years it remained the only portable Typewriter manufactured in India. This Remington Travelriter is a beautiful portable Typewriter with all the features of a desktop machine such as tabulation and basket shift mechanism etc.
